We stayed here in Albuquerque for Easter this year. The Easter services at our church were really great. Then, we went to lunch in the east mountains with some friends. It was nice to get out of the city for an afternoon.
I was watching the news after Easter and they were reporting on a religious tradition in Mexico were they make a pinata to represent Judas. Much like those taking their shots at the pinata of Judas, I have often read Luke 22 and the other gospels and wondered how could Judas betray Jesus after all he had seen and heard. However, I was reminded in our Easter service that we are all pretty much a Judas ... we are all in the crowd choosing Barabbas ... we are all the criminal on the cross next to Jesus desperate for a Savior.
I love the third verse of Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
O to grace how great a debtor
daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wonder, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.
Here are a few pictures of Hudson. I love his little sweater vest for Easter.
Mom took one too many pictures :)
Also, Darren's parents and sister from Montana came to visit Hudson a few weeks ago. We had fun catching up and playing with the baby. Yes, he can play. He lays on the floor and looks at his stuffed animals. He is also getting pretty good at holding his own head up these days.

Here is a good picture of Darren's cousin Jamie who also came to visit with her kiddos.
Cute pic in my guitar shirt!
Hanging out in the bathtub. He loves to float and kick.
